Establishment section deals with all service matters of officers/officials belonging to IAS, ISS, IES, IRTS, ICAS, OL, CCAS, SSS etc services and CSS/CSSS/CSCS cadre working in the department such as :
Pay related matters
Allocation of work
Maintenance of service books
Forwarding of applications
Processing of LTC/GPF/medical reimbursement cases
Training/deputation/Foreign visits of officials of DOF.
Pension cases
NOC for obtaining passport/higher studies
Service verification
Updating / Addition of family details for various purposes
Department of Fertilizers being the Cadre Controlling Authority of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, this section also deals with promotion/transfer/posting etc. in respect of officials of CSSS, CSCS and up to Group B officials of CSS cadre for the entire Ministry.
Appointment to the posts of DC(POP), AC(Shipping), AD(Shipping), Staff Car Driver and MTS in the department.
Appointment and other service matters in respect of personal staff of HMCF on co-terminus basis.
Engagement of Young Professionals and retired government officials on contractual basis depending on the requirements of various divisions of the department.
