The Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI) was assented by the President of India on 15.6.2005 and notified on 21.6.2005. Fertilizer Industry Coordination Committee (Attached Office)
The Retention Price-cum-Subsidy Scheme (RPS) stimulated indigenous production and consumption of fertilizers in the country. To achieve greater internal efficiencies and global competitiveness, unit specific approach of RPS was replaced by a group-based concession scheme called the New Pricing Scheme (NPS) from 1st April 2003.
